How many zoners have this great add-on to msn messenger? I just got it and it's so much fun! You can customize sign in sounds for people and actually have sign out sounds, you can send people sound effects, and if you have some sight and are communicating with other sighted people, it offeres extra format editing and such. I can't really explain that much more as I'm just new to it myself, but I'd definitely recommend it. One easy way is to download the file from me, or else go to http://www.msnplus.net

Yeah, I got messenger plus too, been using for about, um, 2 years or how ever long it's been out for, maybe a bit less. Yeah I love the bit that you can have different sounds for different people when they sign in and out, also love the auto away message feature, the fact that you can save chat logs automaticly, gees, just so many nice thing that little prog can do, so yeah, I totally agree, those of yu who don't have it really should, just be a bit carefull when installing no to install "the sponsor program" because it's full of spyware, jaws users you'll have to use jaws cursor to uncheck the box that says "install sponsor program", but I really love it and wouldn't use MSN without it!

Uh-oh, I hope zonealarm or ad-aware will catch the "sponsor" program. I didn't see that and I don't use jaws. Plus, zonealarm just popped up its own little notification that my virus definitions are out of date and I think my Norton subscription to the live updates has expired. Well, that's kind of off-topic, but yeah, can't wait to record sign-in sounds for people or ask them if they'll record them for me!

Hmm well I don't use zonealarm so not sure if it'd detect it, if I was you, I'd uninstall and reinstall the msn plus prog and look carefully when installing and make sure to uncheck the "sponsor program" box, it's baisicly a licence agreement and it's checked by default, it might have confused you and you might have thought that it's licence for the actuall msn plus, but it's not, so yeah, it's up to you, also as well as having norton and zoneallarm, I'd personally recommend a anti-spyware prog, I use spybot and think it's very good, especially the latest version because it acts a bit like a firewall, as if you click on an site or an email message that contains spyware, and yes firewall can't detect all spyware, anyway spybot pops up this dialog box asking you if you want to block that particular cooky, it's really cool and you can get it from http://www.safer-networking.org or get it off me on MSN

I too, have been using MSN messenger plus for about the last two years now. I remember all to well installing the sponsor software, and that was a bitch to get rid of. It took over my start page, put in some search toolbar and threw some crap on my desk top. I couldn't get rid of that software and even un-installing Messenger Plus didn't fully fix it, so I had to do a system restore to get rid of it. Fortunately I have partial site so I look for it and am always careful to recommend to watch out and refuse the license agreement for the sponsor software.

Sure, anyone from the zone can add me, it's right in my profile, so go ahead! I'll usually tell people if i no longer wish to talk to them, but usually I like striking up the conversations.

I liked it until it gave me the lop.com spy which is about as bad as a virus.

Troy, all you do to correct that is reinstall MSN Plus and say NO to the agreement thingy. That fooled me too until I got some help and ran spybot and ad-aware and all that stuff to clean everything out.
